Ep 14 - Navigating career and life transitions with Amanda Garcia-Harris
Amanda’s journey did not start in hospitality. Her passion lies in theater and performance and because she wanted to move to NYC, she took a role in a restaurant to save money for this next chapter and her journey continued from there.
Amanda constantly was looking to grow but didn’t know how to grow. She continued to take on opportunities where she learnt new skills that she thought may never land in her lap. But it was lonely and Amanda hadn’t defined her pillars, her leadership voice and how to hold herself accountable.
Amanda leaned into getting herself support and guidance. She knew she was ready to grow her confidence and learn what leadership meant to her. So Amanda showed up for herself, admitted that she had insecurities to move through and started unlaying and defining her pillars and language.
Amanda’s story is honest and inspiring. It’s relatable and reassuring. Learn how Amanda learnt how to show up for herself first so she could show up for others.
