Ep 16 - Leading through the tough stuff: an introduction to leadership through a trauma-informed lens
 
Cole Kortlever, a trauma-informed specialist and leadership coach will be educating on where trauma lives in the body and how to tune in when it comes up. Being we are in a highly stimulated industry, it's easier at times to numb that feeling of overwhelm or stress and keep putting ourselves last. In this mini workshop, Cole will teach us how to tune in and share different practices to self care / self soothed even in the middle of a busy moment.

About Cole: 

Cole Kortlever (she/her) is a trauma-informed specialist with a professional background steeped in both hospitality and behavioral health. Cole graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine and went on to complete her management training with the Hillstone Restaurant Group. Her consulting company, Be Kind Consulting, offers personal and professional development training with a trauma-informed lens. In this season of life she prioritizes her role as ‘mom’ to her young daughter, but continues to offer services on an individual and team-scale. She is a California native currently residing in Los Angeles with her husband and toddler. If you’re in the LA area, you might find her cooking up a plant-y meal in her home, dancing on the beach, or smiling at strangers.
